Vast career in juridical, commercial and banking activities. Familiar with most areas of the civil, commercial and economical penal law. Have developed solid understanding of the many specializations as legal adviser, director of the legal department of head office of two important banks, public prosecutor and lawyer.

 

Professional Experience

• Legal adviser at legal department on the period 1976 – 1991 and director of the legal department on the period 1991 – 1995 at head office of the Romanian Bank for Foreign - Trade (BANCOREX);
• Director of the legal department at Banca Tiriac, on the period 1995 – 2000 at head office;
• Prosecutor at the Office of the Bucharest Court - criminal investigation supervision department , on the period 2000 – 2002;
• Lawyer since 2002 up to the moment member of the Bucharest Bar Association.

 

Education

• 1976 – University of Bucharest, degree in law;
• 1985 – University of Bucharest, Diploma of Advanced Studies, English language studies.

 

Additional Training

• Den Danske Bank – Copenhaga – April 1992, Seminar for Eastern and Central European Bankers;
• Training session at the London Centre for International Banking and the Study Group in association with the London Institute of International Banking Finance and Development Law focusing on Legal Aspects of International Finance in June 1996 and July1997.
